A: Here is a short
list of 15 questions that you can use as the basis for your interview process
(feel free to add more to the list): 1.Do you have
sourcing experience before? If yes, what types of products, what regions, and
what procedures have you used to source the products? 2.What networks or
techniques do you use to source factories? 3.What’s your English level on a scale of
1-10? Can you chat, read, write smoothly with English, (please be honest,
because the truth will be discovered quite quickly)? 4.What kind of work do you
usually do in your current/previous job? 5.Are you available to work 8-9 hours
per day for 5 days of the week (40-45 hours)? 6.Do you want a part-time job or
full-time job? 7.Our working time is 7am-4pm in China, can you do it? 8.Where are
you located now? Do you work at home or for a company? 9.Sometimes we need you go
to factory to inspect products and factory conditions. This will require you to
take pictures of the factory or product, test quality of products, and fill out
a detailed report in English to the buyer. Will you be able to perform these
functions? 10.We will give you a list of tasks when given a job, but, in your own
words, if we send you to factory to inspect goods, what would you do? 11.We need
you to send us an honest, accurate and quick report after you finish the
inspection. If you have any problems we want you to let us know right away. Don’t just tell us what we want to hear. We rely on you to make some important
decisions. You will have to agree to this, because otherwise, we can not accept
you. Do you agree? 12.We have a salary amount in mind, but please tell me how much
salary are you expecting? 13.If you are okay with all of these conditions, when
will you be available to start working for us if we decide to hire you? 14.We will
be training you before working so you will be giving our standards and expected
to proceed with our operations as assigned. If you ever have any questions as
you go, you will be able to ask me for help. Do you have any other questions
for me? 15.Our working principle is keep our customer secrets. We don’t want to share any of our company's information (including what products are sourced, the factories used, any contact information, and many other pieces of information) with anyone especially our other customers. All information is absolutely critical to be kept confidential. We may require a written contract that states this. If you DO share our client's or our company's information, we will immediately terminate you. Is this clear?
